The Society for Asian and Comparative Philosophy was established in 1967 as a nonprofit scholarly organization devoted to Asian, comparative, and global philosophy. The Society brings together philosophers and other scholars interested in Asian and world philosophical traditions for the exchange of ideas across cultural and disciplinary boundaries.
Mission
The mission of the Society for Asian and Comparative Philosophy is to advance the study of Asian and comparative philosophy in the international academic community and to encourage scholarly exchange among philosophers and other scholars working across philosophical and cultural traditions.
SACP provides a professional organization for scholars working in Asian, non-Western, comparative, and global philosophy.
