CALL FOR PAPERS
Society for Asian and Comparative Philosophy (SACP) PANELS

We are pleased to invite submissions for the SACP Group Panel at the 2027 APA Central Division Meeting, which will be held February 24–27, 2027 at the Hilton Denver City Center, 1701 California Street, Denver, Colorado 80202, United States.

We welcome submissions in any area of Asian and/or Comparative Philosophy. Both individual paper submissions and complete panel proposals are encouraged. Please send APA Central papers and proposals to Dr. Jea Sophia Oh at joh@wcupa.edu by June 30, 2026, with “SACP APA Central” in the subject line.

REQUIREMENTS for Each Paper Proposal:

  • Title of Paper
  • Name of Presenter
  • Presenter’s Affiliation
  • Presenter’s Email Address
  • Indication of willingness to serve as a panel chair
  • Approximately 200–300 word paper abstract

REQUIREMENTS for Each Panel Proposal:

  • Title of Panel
  • Chair of the Panel
  • Title of Each Paper
  • Name of Each Presenter
  • Affiliation of Each Presenter
  • Email Address of Each Presenter
  • Approximately 200–300 word abstract for each paper
  • Name and Affiliation of Panel Chair

Important Notes

  • This is an in-person conference only.
    • Neither the APA nor SACP provides travel funding, lodging support, or membership subsidies. Participants are responsible for securing their own institutional or personal funding.
    • SACP does not provide a projector or other presentation equipment.
    • Simultaneous submissions to multiple APA affiliated group sessions are strongly discouraged.
    • If your paper is selected, you are expected to present it at the SACP session.
    • All participants (speakers, commentators, and chairs) must register for the APA conference.
