The Society for Asian and Comparative Philosophy uses Google Groups for its email listserv. The listserv distributes SACP announcements, calls for papers, conference information, and other Society news.
The easiest way to join
Visit the SACP Listserv:
https://groups.google.com/a/sacpweb.org/g/sacp-listserv
Sign in with the Google account at which you would like to receive SACP announcements. Click Ask to join group and submit your request. An SACP administrator will approve your membership.
Once approved, you can receive SACP announcements by email and view archived announcements through Google Groups.
Joining with a .edu or other institutional email address
You may also join using a university .edu, professional, or other non-Gmail email address.
First, try signing in to Google with that email address. If your institution already uses Google Workspace, your existing login may work.
If Google says it cannot find your account, create a free Google Account using your existing email address. You do not need to create a Gmail address, and doing this will not change how your university or work email functions. Google specifically allows users to create a Google Account using an existing non-Gmail address.
After creating the Google Account, return to the SACP Listserv page, sign in using that same email address, and click Ask to join group.
Please add sacp-listserv@sacpweb.org to your email contacts or address book to help prevent SACP announcements from being routed to your spam or junk folder.
Having trouble?
If you already receive SACP messages but cannot access the group online, make sure you are signing in with the exact same email address at which you receive SACP announcements.
If you continue to have difficulty, contact SACPcontact@gmail.com and include the email address you would like associated with the SACP Listserv.
